Trash Tag's are available to senior citizens (65+) at a rate of $2.50 per bag. Tag's can be purchased at the Borough building during regular business hours.
Purchase a Trash Toter
Hunker Borough trash provider, Republic Waste, offers curbside carts to anyone interested. Carts are easy to handle, reduce litter on streets and in yards, protect waste from being broken into between collections, have large wheels and attached lids, and are very hard to damage unlike store-bought containers. The cost of a 95-gallon toter is $85.00, which is a one-time fee that includes delivery and repair/replacement should it be needed. Call Customer Service at 724-887-9400 to purchase one over the phone with a credit card. The time frame for delivery is approximately 10 business days.
